Government should lift the state of emergency because it has already served its purpose, which was to protect the country from clear and present danger.

Our economy is moving forward and we must all take responsibility in protecting our people from these malicious threats. We must continue to focus on the economy --- create jobs, provide livelihood opportunities, and develop infrastructure and business that will benefit our people.

We respect the position of the CBCP in regard to the mining issue although we believe that the revitalization of the mining industry presents as a major viable alternative in the effective abatement of poverty in Mindanao.
